Shankar Varadharajan
Chairman
Shankar Varadharajan has over 20 years of experience in strategy, finance, and operations. He started at the Industrial Development Bank of India, focusing on telecom and power project financing, and later advanced product development at Motorola USA. At Tata Infotech Ltd, he led the Software Testing Center and turned around Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited to achieve significant operational profits.
From 2008 to 2010, he was Director at 21st Century Infratele Limited, overseeing business planning and the high-profile Viom Networks merger. As Director and Chief Operating Officer at a private equity firm in Singapore from 2010 to 2016, he developed a major palm plantation project and structured joint ventures with governments. He also managed a USD 1 billion portfolio at Broadcourt Investments Ltd.
Currently, Shankar is Director at Mercatus Capital Pte Ltd, investing in High-Growth Technology companies across Singapore, the UAE, and the USA. He is also the Chief Strategy Officer at RapidCare Group, focusing on integrating new entities and enhancing profitability, and the Chief Operating Officer at Fischer Medical Ventures Ltd, which provides cutting-edge medical technologies on a global scale.

Travis Wong

Travis drives the strategic direction and business development at ScholarBridge in Singapore and China, leveraging over 15 years of private banking experience across Singapore and the UAE. He has collaborated with major banks in Asia, Switzerland, and the Middle East, specializing in the Ultra High Net Worth segment. In addition, he is a Certified Family Office Advisor.
A Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA and CGMA), Travis is also an associate member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and has completed the Board of Directors Masterclass Programme with ISCA.
Alongside his professional responsibilities, Travis serves as an adjunct lecturer in Finance modules at various universities. He is a key member of the management committee at the NTU Alumni Club, and also actively participates in the Rainforest Resident Network, working closely with advisors for residents in Choa Chu Kang GRC.
Travis’ dedication to excellence is demonstrated by receiving the Chairman’s Award from the Wealth Management Institute and NTU for a Master degree. Additionally, he has earned multiple Dean’s List honors at two different universities.

Since transitioning into Executive Education, Jan has had the opportunity to collaborate with multinational corporations, building impactful partnerships that have led to successful training initiatives. She has also worked closely with the Family Office sector, contributing to reinforcing Singapore’s position as a global wealth hub.
Jan is an experienced project personnel, skilled in overseeing complex initiatives and ensuring timely delivery while leading cross-functional teams to success. As a Certified Trainer and Curriculum Designer, she creates transformative learning experiences that empower individuals and organizations to reach their potential. Motivated by a passion for making a positive impact, she advocates for initiatives that help people and businesses thrive.

Daniel Seah

Daniel oversees the development and identification of new business opportunities in emerging markets. With over 20 years of experience, Daniel has worked with governments and private firms across Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Southeast Asia on projects related to internationalization, economic development, urban planning, and digital government transformation.
In the public sector, he has led projects in urban development, digital government transformation, strategic planning, logistics hub planning, and national identity systems. He has also showcased Singapore’s economic development through integrated frameworks and co-published articles on economic development topics.
In the private sector, Daniel has partnered with firms in airport development, logistics, food manufacturing, and healthcare to drive internationalization. He has led global roadshows promoting Singaporean products and organized business missions to Colombia, Vietnam, Mexico, and South Africa. Daniel combines strong business acumen, an innovative mindset, and a pragmatic approach, excelling in building and leading effective teams.

Miranti W Rostian

Miranti plays a key role in ScholarBridge Global’s strategic expansion, driving valuable collaborations across regions. With over four years of experience in alternative investments and prime brokerage sales, she delivers customized solutions for institutional clients in Asia and the Middle East. Her qualifications include a Master of Science in Asset & Wealth Management from Nanyang Technological University, a MBA in Finance from the National University of Singapore, and CMFAS certifications.
Specializing in client acquisition and onboarding, Miranti works with hedge funds, family offices, external asset managers (EAMs), fund-of-funds, VCCs, and trust funds. She collaborates closely with teams to drive growth, enhance offerings, and identify new business opportunities. With a strong interest in emerging asset classes and impact investing, she integrates ESG principles into her work.
